COUNCIL staff raised more than £575 for breast cancer research - by simply thinking pink.
They dressed in pink, ate pink cakes and let off hundreds of pink balloons across the Hambleton District Council area as part of Cancer Research UK's breast cancer awareness campaign.
"Virtually everyone within the district council contributed in some way to this day," said charity day organiser Stef Oliver.
"We had great fun and raised lots of cash for a very good cause in the process."
