SCHOOL pupils have been making charity boxes for people to fill with money.
Allertonshire School in Northallerton is supporting Imagine, a charity with a number of projects in Mozambique, which include work with orphaned children and Aids sufferers.
Staff and pupils made more than 800 boxes which were entered in a competition for the best design and nine boxes were chosen.
The winning students were Leanne Collyer, George Robinson, Chelsea Hutchinson, Nikki Chapman, Jack Gudger, Joanne Brown and Jasmin Burn. Winning staff were Cate Archer and Dawn Stockbridge.
