POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was left unconscious following a fight outside a pub.
The incident happened outside Blakes in the Thames Centre, Newton Aycliffe, last Sunday.
The fight happened between 1am and 1.05am and police are trying to determine whether the man was assaulted by two other men.
PC Darrell Brown, who is investigating the incident, said: "We are looking for witnesses, in particular a female who went to the assistance of the man when he was knocked unconscious."
