PAST and present images of a North-East city are the subject of a free exhibition.
Visitors to Monkwearmouth Station Museum, in North Bridge Street, Sunderland, can see images of the city as depicted by Sunderland Photographic Association.
Almost 370 photographs taken by members from 1900 to 1960 have been photographed by current members from the same locations.
The result is a fascinating exhibition of views of old Sunderland alongside modern images of the same places.
Sunderland Old Quay, by Norman Robson, is one example of the nostalgic views that can be seen.
Martin Routledge, from the museum, said: "The photographs serve as documents recording how the face of Sunderland has changed from the 20th to the 21st Century, including views of Sunderland, Roker and Seaburn."
Sunderland Past and Present is on show until April 3.
