AN exhibition of diverse designs by North-East students opens this week.
The end of year display by final year MA Design students at Northumbria University, in Newcastle, showcases a broad spectrum of imaginative and inventive work, covering everything from fashion to transport.
Professor Terry Dowling said: "We encourage students to take an ethical viewpoint with designs, creating products and concepts that will be beneficial to users, and wherever possible, are environmentally friendly."
The exhibition runs until Saturday at Newcastle Arts Centre, in Westgate Road, from 9am to 5.30pm. Entry is free.
