Health checks: Crook and District nurses will carry out blood pressure and health checks at Howden-le-Wear Community Centre tomorrow, from 2pm to 4pm.
Healthy walk: A two-and-a-half mile walk will start at 10am at Howden-le-Wear Community Centre on Sunday. It is part of the Wear Valley Walking for Health Campaign. For details, call Lynn Wilson on (01388) 765553.
Children's crafts: Stories and crafts for children take place at Crook library on Friday, February 11, from 2pm 3pm. Tickets cost £1 from the library desk.
Winter warmers: A free Winter Warmers storytelling session by Gary Cordingley is followed by a craft session at Crook library on Monday, February 7, 10.30am to noon, for children aged four and over.
