A MAN had part of his ear bitten off when he was attacked in a North-East bar.
The 57-year-old was assaulted beside the entrance door to Yates Wine Lodge, in Burdon Road, Sunderland, at 12.30am on Sunday.
Police said there was a scuffle involving a group.
The injured man received treatment at hospital for his injury.
Anyone who saw the scuffle or spoke to either the man or the bouncers is asked to contact detectives at Gillbridge police station on 0191-454 7555, ext 66146.
