BOOK-lovers across North Yorkshire are being invited to read books recommended by other library users.
The service, Borrowers Recommend, has been launched at a number of the county council-run libraries.
Using data provided by the Public Lending Right, Borrowers Recommend is a were enjoyed by library users in the UK last year.
The books represent some of the best titles by emerging authors highlighted by UK's Public Lending Right system and all have been borrowed in their thousands.
Borrowers Recommend is taking place at library and information centres in Northallerton, Scarborough, Harrogate, Ripon, Skipton and Selby.
