Forty-five students from Stockton Sixth Form College are taking part in a three-day trip to London.
Sociology students will visit Harrow public school to see the own golf course and Olympic size swimming pool.
They will also visit Bow Street Magistrates' Court.
RE students will visit the largest Hindu temple outside India and London Central Mosque, while media students with tour the BBC's Shepherd's Bush studios and visit the British Board of Film Classification.
