A CANNABIS farm complete with heaters and lights operated by timers was found in a loft in a Teesside house yesterday.
The community policing team on Hardwick Estate, in Stockton, executed a warrant under the misuse of drugs act on Scurfield Road.
They were acting on information supplied by people living in the Hardwick area.
The farm was discovered in the loft area yesterday morning and 60 mature cannabis plants were recovered.
Sergeant Dave Chard of the Hardwick community policing team said: "Whatever information we receive from residents is treated in the strictest confidence and we will act on it if we can.
"People should be reassured that, like in today's raids, we will continue to target those people involved in drugs within our communities."
Anyone with any information about drugs in the Hardwick area is asked to call police on (01642) 672987.
