A YORKSHIRE Dales tea room is now offering a taste of Italy.
Lanie's Corner House, in Leyburn, Wensleydale, has begun making its own Italian style ice cream.
Owner Elaine Tomlinson said: "We consulted many people in the industry and sought advice and training from the experts in Italian ice cream production. Machinery and refrigeration machines have been imported from Italy and installed at Lanie's.
"After much experimentation and tasting, we now believe that we have produced a unique, delicious ice cream that is a credit to Wensleydale."
Milk for the ice cream is provided by local farms.
