Two cars collided on Hundens Lane, Darlington, at about 3.30pm yesterday as a result of youngsters throwing snowballs, prompting police to warn youths of the danger.
Drivers also struggled yesterday on icy roads in the town. A green Mini and a Citroen collided at the junction of Park Lane and Parkside at about 8am. No one was injured. There was a second accident at 8.30am when a Volkswagen Polo slid into a car in Whitby Way, Darlington.
