TALENTED youngsters will fulfil their dancing dreams when they perform in the West End.

The group of 35 students, aged from eight to 18, have been chosen to entertain at Her Majesty's Theatre in the heart of London.

Last year, the pupils, from the Bradley School of Dance, received glowing reviews following a show at Disneyland Paris.

And now, after a tough audition, the dance school, based in Great Ayton, has been selected to appear at the famous theatre.

Along with six other dance schools, the pupils will perform two routines; an acrobatic routine of The Little Mermaid, and a stage performance of Me and My Girl.

School principal Margaret Connelly, who took over the business from her late mother, Elizabeth Bradley, spoke of her pride.

She said: "It was a great achievement when the group performed at the Magic Kingdom in Paris. But to perform in the West End is every dancer's dream. Everyone is so excited and they have all worked extremely hard to get here."

The performance is on Sunday, April 17.

Margaret said: "Some of our senior pupils are seriously considering taking up dancing as a career and this will be a vital part of their CV."
