Architects Dewjoc's has appointed three directors.
IAN LANCASTLE-SMITH and STEVE BAKER will be based at the Newcastle office, and STEPHEN DAY will be in Stockton, taking the total number of directors of the practice to 11.
The company, one of the North-East's largest firms of architects, employs 60 people across the region.
Mr Lancastle-Smith joined Dewjoc last year with more than 20 years experience as an award-winning architect.
Mr Baker is a senior project manager and joined Dewjoc in 2001. He has worked on a number of projects in the retail, transport, leisure, office and hotel sectors and his recent experience includes the international terminal development for Newcastle International Airport, the headquarters and training centre for Samsung UK and several supermarkets for Safeways.
Quantity surveyor Stephen Day joined Dewjoc in 1987 and has specialist experience in educational, research, pharmaceutical, and other related "clean room" processing industries, with a variety of clients including the University of Teesside, the University of Durham, GlaxoSmithKline, Pharmacia and Sanofi-Synthelabo in the UK and abroad.
