A NEW drop-in clinic for parents will be launched in Catterick Garrison tomorrow.
It will be held at Darlington College's Catterick building every Wednesday from 10am-11.30am.
Health visitor Wendy Pedley said: "The idea is to hold the weekly clinics in a setting which will give young parents the opportunity to access educational and social welfare opportunities as well as the child health clinic."
Head of Darlington College at Catterick, David Hassall, said: "As well as looking after the health needs of their children, the initiative will place the mums in an environment where they can consider returning to learning and where they can plan for their futures."
