PUPILS from Teesside Prep School in Eaglescliffe won several classes at the Darlington Music Festival.
The choir won the 13 and under class, gaining 88 marks and a distinction, while the school's Rowling Chamber Ensemble won the Junior Music Making class for 11 and under.
Six-year-old Lucy Walker, from Billingham, won the eight and under piano class, while Vidya Shyam Sundar, 11, from Yarm, with partner nine-year-old Sarah Gardner, from Elton, won the 15 and under piano duet class.
Teesside Prep School headteacher Michael Abraham said: "This was a terrific performance, not only from the girls themselves, but also from their teachers, Pat Ryan and Barbara Bury, who have prepared them for this event."
