A driver on the 45A bus travelling on the Great North Road, opposite Old Brunton Lane, in the Gosforth area of Newcastle, at about 9.50pm on Saturday was robbed of his takings by two passengers.
The driver suffered an arm injury during the robbery. The suspects got off the bus on the Great North Road and ran off towards Hazelrigg.
