A GROUP of teenagers wowed a toddlers group when they put their art skills to the test and presented them with a nursery rhyme sensory mat.
The five 14-year-olds, from Sedgefield, made the mat as an activity in their reading and craft group at Sedgefield library.
The mat is made from different fabrics and sequins and anything else the girls felt would be stimulating.
The pictures are taken from popular nursery rhymes including Baa Baa Black Sheep, Hey Diddle Diddle and The Owl and the Pussycat.
Senior library assistant Lesley Hutchinson said: "The toddlers are delighted and the girls should feel very proud of themselves."
