AN Easter egg competition is to be held for children in the Easington district.
The District of Easington Tenants' and Residents' Federation, supported by Easington council and East Durham Homes, will hold the event on Wednesday, March 23, at Peterlee Methodist Church Hall in Bede Way, between 1pm and 3pm.
Children are invited to bring along decorated hard-boiled eggs and there will be a prize for every entry. Eggs can also be decorated on the day. There will be party games, a magician, disco and karaoke. Transport can be arranged by calling Linda Hopkinson on 0191-518 4477.
