A HEALTH body set up to represent patients and the public is looking for members.
People with an interest in the delivery of mental health services are being invited to join the Patient and Public Involvement Forum for County Durham and Darlington Priority Services, which was set up to increase public involvement in decision-making.
Forum member Joan Durkin said: "In the 14 months since we began, we have identified many issues that reflect the concerns of local people when it comes to mental health and the delivery of those local mental health services.
"We need more people to join us in this work and to bring forward other issues and concerns that need addressing to improve the lives of mental health services users and their families or carers."
Anyone interested in becoming a forum member can call Jane Morris on 0191-448 4300.
