CHILDREN can try free crafts at the Shipley Art Gallery, in Gateshead.
Potter Steve Poulton will help visitors create pots from 10am to noon and from 1pm to 3pm on Tuesday.
Artist Steve Marshall will explore printmaking and painting and will help visitors create masterpieces from 10am to noon and 1pm to 3pm on Thursday, and from 10am to noon and 1pm to 3pm on April 7.
Cath Campbell will take inspiration from maritime paintings to help visitors build boats on April 5, from 10am to noon, and from 1pm to 3pm.
Visitors will also be able to create characters from the gallery's paintings by making simple puppets in next month's Get Crafty session, on April 3, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm
