A UNIVERSITY has been rec-ognised for its commitment to people with disabilities.
The Positive About Disabled People award, presented to the University of Sunderland, highlights employers who have agreed to meet five commitments regarding the recruitment, employment, retention and career development of disabled people.
The award, from Jobcentre Plus, means it provides equal access for disabled staff in respect of jobs and training
