ENDING his term of office as Mayor of Sedgefield, Jim Wayman is having one final event to try and reach £6,000 for his charity appeal.
The appeal will help the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Appeal, the North-East Air Ambulance and local children. With the help of his wife Mavis, who runs a local dress shop, a fashion show is to be held in Sedgefield Parish Hall on Tuesday, April 12. Starting at 7.30pm, admission is £5, including light refreshments.
