NOMINATIONS for the Durham Dales 2005 Health and Social Care Awards are due in by Friday.
The awards mark the fifth year of recognising the best examples of excellence in health and social care, and give staff a chance to highlight all that is best about the work they are doing.
Clare Westwood, from County Durham and Darlington Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, was voted the Nurse or Midwife of the Year last year.
She said: "These awards are an excellent way of receiving recognition that is deserved and a great opportunity to spread the word about our work."
