Work has begun in earnest on a multi-million pound development which will bring 2,000 jobs to Darlington.
Developers Tees Valley Regeneration have completed the first phase of dismantling pylons and power lines and installing underground cables to neaten up the derelict site, just off the town's Haughton Road.
