CHARTERED accountants and business advisors Clive Owen & Co has promoted ANGUS ALLAN to partner.
The company now has eight partners across its three offices in Darlington, Durham and York.
Mr Allan joined the practice as corporate finance director two years ago and since then has been involved in more than 30 client deals including acquisitions, disposals and management buyouts ranging in size from £250,000 to more than £15m.
Before his appointment at Clive Owen & Co, he spent 13 years gaining a breadth of experience with a major accountancy firm in the region.
Clive Owen, senior partner, said: "Since he joined us, Angus has raised the profile of Clive Owen Corporate Finance considerably in the North-East and Yorkshire.
"He has taken advantage of his excellent bank, solicitor and venture capitalist contacts to guarantee we have been involved in a large share of the region's deals. I am delighted that he has agreed to join me and my six partners in leading the firm towards increasing growth and success."
