AEROSPACE and engineering companies are being urged to fly the flag for the region at one of the world's most famous air shows.
UK Trade and Investment is taking a delegation to the Paris Air Show. The trip will also include a visit to the British Embassy in Paris, the French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain and networking events with key companies in the aerospace sector.
The tour has been organised in partnership with Northern Defence Industries, which represents the region's small and medium-sized businesses in the defence and engineering sectors.
Ian Cunningham, of UK Trade and Investment, said: "This is an excellent opportunity for companies in the performance engineering sector to meet companies with whom they could do business."
