Darlington's Carmel RC Technology College became one of only 40 schools selected from 23,000 in the country last week to be a SIMS Reference Site.
SIMS is the administrative software provider for schools nationwide and is used to manage timetables and assessments.
The software enables the progress of each student to be carefully monitored in all subjects, so that teachers can help every individual to achieve their full potential.
