MORE people then ever will be able to attend a popular rhythm and blues festival this summer.
The third Barnard Castle Rhythm and Blues Festival is to take place on the Demesnes fields in the town, on Sunday, May 29.
In previous years, the festival was held at the Red Well Inn. However, the move means the free festival can attract even larger crowds.
There will also be a beer tent and refreshments. The festival's main sponsor is the Black Horse in Barnard Castle, and Barnard Castle Round Table made a £250 donation.
