A North Yorkshire man has taken over at the helm of a Citizens Advice Bureau.

Mike Hill, of Hutton Rudby, has become Darlington CAB's manager, after spending the past six months establishing a management system at the London Jewish Museum of Art.

He started his career in the North-East in the Cleveland county museum service, running the Cleveland Gallery and Cleveland Craft Centre for seven years, before moving on to become director of the Northern Centre for Contemporary Art, in Sunderland.

Mr Hill said: "Employment rights, benefit entitlement, debt issues - these are three of the most common subjects that clients bring to our trained advisers, and they are set to become problems for more and more people in Darlington. There has probably never been a greater need for CAB.
