A COURSE has been introduced at East Durham and Houghall Community College in response to a major skills shortage.
From September, the college's Peterlee campus, will be offering a full-time programme in gas installation.
It is seen as ideal for school leavers and will be run in partnership with Lomax Training of Sunderland
An information session will be held at the college's town centre site in Peterlee on Wednesday, beginning at 6pm.
A spokesperson for the college said: "This is a tremendous opportunity and we are sure that we will be inundated with applications.''
