A PRIMARY Care Trust is searching for a chairman in the Wear Valley and Tees area.
Durham Dales Primary Care Trust is holding an open evening on Wednesday, July 20, for anyone who may be interested in taking on the role.
Current chairwoman Anne Beeton is retiring after serving since 2002.
A spokesman for the trust said: "The position is one of leadership at the highest level in an important local organisation."
The open evening is from 5pm to 7pm, at Bishop Auckland Town Hall, and will offer more information on the post.
