A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy was seriously hurt when he was knocked down in Washington on Sunday.
He ran between parked cars in Hogarth Drive, Columbia, at about 6pm and was struck by a Nissan Micra.
He was taken to Newcastle General Hospital with a fractured skull and broken leg.
