STARS of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing will give a celebrity boost to a North-East charity event.
Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag will give a 45-minute dance performance to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care, Grace House Children’s Hospice appeal and Teesside Hospice.
The stars will perform after a dinner at Ramside Hall, Durham, hosted by the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH).
Graham Scanlon, chairman of CIH in the North- East, said “We are delighted to welcome Anton and Erin to our event. As well as it being a sparkling evening of entertainment, the purpose is to raise as much money as we can for such worthy causes in our region.”
The event will be held on Friday, August 21, from 7.30pm. Tickets, including a champagne reception, threecourse meal, dancing, disco and raffle, are £75 per person plus VAT. Tables of ten are priced at £700 plus VAT.
