A BOOK of photographs and artwork celebrating life on the Woodhouse Close Estate in Bishop Auckland is launched on Wednesday.
As part of the Woodhouse Arts Programme, funded by Wear Valley District Council’s Neighbourhood Renewal, Neighbourhood Elements Fund, artists have worked with residents, community groups and schools collating material for the book, entitled Woodhouse, Creating A Community.
The launch event takes place at Bishop Auckland Town Hall at 5pm on Wednesday.
Tickets are free, but must be pre-booked.
