PASSENGERS had a lucky escape when a youth smashed a bus window as it drove through Hartlepool.
A group of youths were stood on Clavering Road when one of them threw an unknown object at the window, causing it to smash. The youths then ran away from the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident that happened at around 7.25pm on Saturday, May 2.
No passengers on the bus were injured.
