A MOUNTAIN rescue team came to the aid of a man who broke his leg while walking in North Yorkshire.
The 24-year-old from Northallerton fell 30ft down Slipstone Crag, near Masham, at about 4pm today.
The Swaledale Mountain Rescue team, who were on the scene within 30 minutes, made him comfortable and transported him half-a-mile to a waiting ambulance.
The man is being treated in the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.
