UPTO 18 cars owned by bank workers were vandalised this evening.
An unidentified liquid which removed the paint on the vehicles, which were parked at Moorside Road on Doxford International Park, Sunderland.
Police, who were alerted at 4pm, said that the cars were owned by staff working at the Barclays call centre. no-one was injured.
The fire brigade was called and, as yet, the substance has not been identified.
