A MAN has been attacked and robbed as he walked through Saltburn town centre.

The 33-year-old was walking from Diamond Street through the alleyway towards Pearl Street at around 5.30pm last Thursday when he was pushed to the ground from behind and had his wallet taken from his coat pocket.

The victim, who was not injured during the robbery, saw two males running from the scene into Pearl Street, turning right towards Milton Street.

The suspects were both male with one described as wearing a large black Puffa jacket with the hood up and dark jeans. He was of large build and around 6fy tall.

The second was of smaller build, about 5ft 6ins and wearing a pair of dark tracksuit bottoms.
