A WOMAN was taklen to hospital this afternoon after she was involved in a collision with a cement mixer.
The accident happened in Chester Road, Sunderland at around 12.30pm.
The pedestrian was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital for treatment.
Police are hoping to speak to anyone who witnessed the accident, in particular the drivers of two cars thought to have been in front of the lorry at the time.
