A WOMAN fell and broke her leg while she was walking at the White Horse carving in North Yorkshire.
She fell on Tuesday, January 6 at 12.20pm as she walked with a group on the famous North Yorkshire landmark at Kilburn, near Thirsk.
The 66-year-old victim was flown to the James Cook University Hospital, Teesside, by a Sea King search and rescue helicopter.
North Yorkshire Police, a Cleveland Search and Rescue Team and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were all sent to the scene too.
