Barningham's Angie Townsend has launched The Tiny Cake Company.
Well known as an expert plantswoman, continuing back and hip problems have meant that Angie has found it increasingly difficult to cope with the physical demands of the business.
Not content to rest on her laurels, Angie set out to do something else and started The Tiny Cake Company. Baked entirely by hand in her own kitchen, Angie's mouth-watering miniature cakes are made using only the finest ingredients, including local free-range eggs, organic butter and milk, plain, milk and white chocolate from Green and Black and a selection of free-trade coffee and cocoa products.
Each cake is individually decorated and presented in its own gift case.
Cakes can be produced to order and are perfect for any occasion. They can be purchased from Angie at Richmond indoor market on Mondays and Wednesdays. Angie can also be contacted by telephone on 01833 621411 or email to angietownsend@toucansurf.com
