RESIDENTS and businesses are being urged to enter the festive spirit and light up their town.
Ferryhill Town Council and Ferryhill 2000 Committee wants entrants to its annual Christmas lights competition.
There will be two categories- residential and business- with the winners of each category being awarded a hamper of festive goodies.
Entry is free. Judging will take place on Friday December 12 with a presentation event at Ferryhill Town Hall on Friday December 19.
Anyone interested should submit and entry form, available at Ferryhill Town Hall, and return it to Lindsey Bell at the hall before Wednesday December 10.
