POLICE are searching for an office worker who was reported missing on Monday.

June Peet, 36, who shares a house with three others in Darlington, was last seen by her housemates on Wednesday, November 26.

Her family, who live in Cumbria, have not heard from her since Thursday, November 27, when she sent her father a text message.

Police said they were concerned about Miss Peet, who lives in St John’s Crescent, as she usually keeps in regular contact with her family.

Miss Peet, who works at Lingfield Point, in Darlington, is 5ft 4in, of medium build, with shoulder length, straight, light brown hair. She has blue eyes and wears glasses for reading only.

PC Becky Nichol said: “We are concerned as are her family because her disapperence is out of character.

“She keeps in regular contact with her family in Cumbria, and for that reason, this particular silence is obviously troubling them as well. We would like to establish that she is safe and well.”

Anyone who has seen Miss Peet is asked to call police on 0345-60-60-365.
