A County Durham garden centre has built up a loyal following among gardeners, earning an impressive 4.5-star rating from more than 300 Google reviews.
Windlestone Nursery, a few miles east of Bishop Auckland, draws customers looking for everything from seasonal bedding plants to mature specimen trees.
Hundreds of visitors have praised the independent garden centre’s plants, prices and customer service.
A five-star reviewer said they had returned regularly since their first visit about 18 months ago.
They wrote: "First visited Windlestone approximately 18 months ago, purchased a lot of items since and had some amazing quality olive trees from them.
"Took another visit this weekend and came back with more olive trees and huge pots to get the authentic look.
"Such a good choice on larger shrubs and trees.
"We always pay for the delivery service, fair price and the guys who deliver are lovely, very friendly and always put the items where you want them without a bother."
The reviewer added: "This garden nursery is very fair on price, good quality, lots of choice and great all-round service from the team at Windlestone Nursery."
Windlestone Nursery stocks a wide range of plants, with fresh bedding plants, perennials and shrubs arriving throughout the year.
Landscapers, garden designers and homeowners also visit for mature specimen plants, including exotic species, palm trees and acers.
It serves customers across the region, including Bishop Auckland, West Auckland, Wynyard, Newton Aycliffe and Spennymoor.
The nursery also stocks a wide choice of ceramic, wooden, stone and plastic planters, plus compost, fertiliser, tools and other essentials.
Windlestone Nursery strives to create a traditional garden-centre experience and focuses on horticulture, with no on-site restaurant or gift shop.
It is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 4pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
The centre is at Windlestone Lane, Rushyford, DL17 0NA, just off the A689 towards Darlington and Newton Aycliffe.
