Police are hunting for two suspects after a man suffered a "serious injury" when he was attacked with a bladed weapon.
The attack took place in Stockton at around 8.30am on Monday, September 7, on Dixon Street.
A 33-year-old man was approached by two unknown men, one of whom attacked him with a bladed weapon.
He suffered a serious injury to his arm and was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment.
Detective Constable Bird said: "The victim was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment to a serious injury to his arm.
"Fortunately, we understand that his injury is not currently believed to be life-threatening.
"I’m appealing for anyone who may have seen the two suspects – described as a white man in blue shorts, a two-tone blue hooded jacket and black trainers and an Asian man in black shorts, dark blue top and black trainers – in the area or after the attack when they then left the address separately.

"We’re carried out a number of lines of enquiry including an area search, CCTV enquiries and others, and we’re now appealing for anyone with information or any relevant doorbell, dash cam or private CCTV from Dixon Street, Bluebell Crescent and Dovecot Street to get in touch."
