SORBA Thomas could make his first start for Hull City at Sunderland tonight in a competition he was knocked out of by the Tigers just a couple of weeks ago!
One of Thomas' final games as a Stoke City player came in the Carabao Cup penalty shoot-out defeat to Hull at the end of August.
The winger then joined the Tigers on deadline day and made his debut from the bench in the weekend draw with Aston Villa.
But after rules were relaxed last season, allowing players to now play for two clubs in the Carabao Cup, Thomas is set to get a second bite at the competition tonight.

Hull boss Sergej Jakirovic plans to use tonight's third round tie at Sunderland to integrate more of his summer signings with plenty of changes expected.
The Tigers, third in the Premier League after taking seven points from their first three matches, have added 18 new players to their squad since their play-off triumph in May ended a nine-year top-flight absence.
Thomas was one of six to arrive on deadline day and assistant boss Dean Holden said Hull’s coaching staff were still undecided on who will make their debuts as the Tigers bid to extend their impressive unbeaten start to the season.
Holden told a press conference: “I don’t know exactly, but we’ll see how they come through (Monday’s) session.
There will be changes, Sergej proved that in the first game, he said it’s a good opportunity to get minutes into players who need to get up to speed.
“There’s a lot of players who have come through the door in the transfer window and they need valuable minutes.”
Tim Iroegbunam, a £22million deadline-day signing from Everton, Christos Mouzakitis and Robinio Vaz are among those hoping to make their bows, while Matt Crooks could return to action after a thigh injury.
Hull followed up their stunning opening-day win over Manchester United with victory at promoted Coventry before sealing another point against Villa and have yet to concede a league goal this season.
Holden added: “The boys that have got the shirt at the moment are doing well enough to keep hold of it, but certainly everybody who gets a chance will have to stake a claim to get in and that’s the exciting thing for us.”
