Concerns for welfare of a girl who disappeared from Ferryhill found

This girl has now been found.

Police are concerned for the welfare of a girl who disappeared from Ferryhill.

Durham Police said the girl was last spotted in the Raby Road area at around 4.30pm on Saturday, September 5.

Police are now urging anyone who recognises her or knows where she may be to come forward, as they have 'concerns for her welfare'.

A spokesperson saud: "Do you recognise this girl?

"Officers have concerns for her welfare and are appealing for information that may help to identify and locate her.

"She was last seen in the Raby Road area of Ferryhill at around 4.30pm today (Saturday, September 5).

"Anybody with any information is asked to contact Durham Police via 101, quoting incident number 309 of September 5."
