What will the weather be like in the North East today?

Today will be changeable, with rain at times and warm spells of sunshine.

Initial low cloud and any hill fog will soon lift to leave a fine morning and early afternoon with some sunshine. However, cloud thickening from the west through the afternoon with rain arriving later. Breezy, but feeling warm and humid. Maximum temperature 22 °C.

Much of the evening and night will be cloudy with some rain at times, this locally perhaps heavy. Rain starting to clear from the north by the morning. Staying warm. Minimum temperature 14 °C.
