Two people were taken to James Cook University Hospital after a crash near Saltburn.
Emergency services were called to the A171 between Charltons and Boosbeck at around 7.30pm on Friday (August 28).
Two ambulances were sent to the scene, and two people were taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
Their current condition is not known. Cleveland Police has been contacted.
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic incident on A171 near Saltburn on Friday (August 28), at 7.29pm.
"We dispatched two ambulance crews, one clinical team leader and a community first responder to the incident.
"Two patients were taken to James Cook University Hospital for further treatment."
